Bob has been in the international construction equipment business for over 40 years. Starting a consulting operation, IHC Services – International Hall Consulting, in 2021.
Bob was employed by Bechtel Equipment Operation, Inc. as President and VP of Corporate Equipment and Leasing Operation and charged with the responsibility for managing a fleet more than $600 million operating in over twenty countries worldwide for the largest contractor in the US. Bob was previously employed as VP of International Operations for AMECO, a division of Fluor Corporation, and VP of Operations for Morgan Equipment Company for 14 years.
Bob has the unique perspective of having managed domestic and international operations of distributor sales, parts, service, rental fleet as well as manufacturing operations during the last 30 years as well as having managed large contractor fleets in the Americas and internationally throughout the world.
He is graduate of Benedictine College with a degree in Economics & Business and has an MBA in Finance from St. Louis University.
He has been officer of Association of Construction Equipment Managers (ACEM) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Equipment Managers (AEMP) Foundation.
Mike Clancy advises construction businesses across the U.S. With a strong background in construction operations and strategy consulting experience, Mike brings a unique viewpoint to his client work that focuses on how to convert strategy developed in the boardroom into operational plans to be executed in the field. He possesses a deep knowledge of estimating, fleet operations, capital expenditure optimization, process improvement, strategy, management succession, and leadership development and training.
He has led multi-disciplinary teams within FMI and outside industry professional groups to solve complex challenges for his clients and the broader industry. Mike is a nationally recognized speaker for associations and trade events.
Earlier in his career, Mike held several key operational and management roles in general contracting and development firms throughout the southeastern U.S. He also served in the U.S. Army as a junior non-commissioned officer.
Karen is a senior operations/technology executive and leader who has spent her entire career in the construction industry. She is passionate about her goal: help companies prosper by combining business acumen, operational excellence and optimal use of technology. Prior to starting her own consulting company, she spent most of her career as the CIO of J.F. White Contracting Co, a heavy civil construction company based in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Northeastern University and has served many roles in the construction industry including Project Engineer, Cost/Project Control Manager, and Vice President of IT and Administration. She has extensive ERP and acquisition integration experience. This background, along with adept leadership skills enables her to motivate teams, drive process improvement and enhance the collaboration between operations, accounting and IT resulting in increased margins.
Karen has participated on several boards and committees including AGC National IT Forum Steering Committee, Viewpoint industry Advisory Board, Construction Industries of Massachusetts, Women in Transportation, J.F. White Executive Committee and National Association of Women in Construction.
John is a highly experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Coach. An engineer, he has 30 years experience as a Venture Capital investor in international technology companies headquartered in Ireland. He was CEO of Trinity Venture Capital from 1997 to 2014. He is a director, past and present, of over 30 companies, including two listed public companies. He was responsible for investments in over 30 companies; three IPO’s; and the sale of over 20 companies to US, UK, Israeli and European buyers. He has proven expertise, at Board level over the past 30 years, in raising equity; developing management teams; assisting companies to solve problems/accelerate growth; and the successful sale/IPO of businesses. He currently works as an adviser to a number of high potential companies.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Tenna, Austin is leveraging his international experience in construction operations for civil, building, and energy projects with The Conti Group, a 113-year-old private developer of infrastructure assets. His passion for entrepreneurship and technology has led him to create an asset tracking and construction technology platform that is designed for construction companies to get the most out of their assets and data.
Austin earned a bachelor’s degree from Babson College in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in General Entrepreneurship.
