Tenna Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance Certification

Reinforcing Commitment to Security and Trust in the Construction Technology Space

Tenna awarded SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance Certification

New Hope, PA (July 15, 2025) TENNA, the construction technology platform powering equipment fleet operations, today proudly announced that it has achieved its SOC 2 Type 2 compliance certification. This milestone builds upon Tenna’s previous SOC 2 Type 1 achievement and marks another critical step in the company’s mission to deliver secure, reliable, and trustworthy solutions to the construction industry.

Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 Type 2 certification is an extensive audit that assesses a company’s operational effectiveness over time with regard to security, availability, and confidentiality controls. Achieving this level of compliance demonstrates Tenna’s commitment to protecting customer data and operating under the highest standards of governance and risk management.

“Security and privacy are non-negotiable for our customers and our platform,” said Austin Conti, CEO and Co-Founder of Tenna. Construction companies rely on Tenna for operational visibility and decision making across their equipment and assets. Earning SOC 2 Type 2 reinforces our commitment to building and maintaining trust with our customers as we help move the construction industry forward with innovative technology solutions.”

SOC 2 Type 2 compliance signifies that Tenna’s internal controls and systems have not only been properly designed (as validated in the Type 1 report) but have also been consistently operating effectively over a sustained period. This includes rigorous evaluation of Tenna’s data handling, infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response practices.

“This achievement validates our internal practices, engineering rigor, and our company-wide dedication to upholding security and privacy,” said Luke Douglas, CTO of Tenna. “We understand the high stakes of our customers’ operations. That’s why our team works diligently to ensure our systems meet the most stringent standards—without compromising performance or innovation.”

Tenna’s platform is purpose-built for the construction industry, empowering contractors to manage, track, and optimize their mixed fleet of assets and equipment. From GPS tracking and maintenance scheduling to jobsite resource allocation and asset visibility, Tenna helps contractors increase efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate operational blind spots.

By achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification, Tenna continues to deliver on its promise of providing a secure foundation for construction companies looking to digitize and streamline their equipment operations in today’s complex project environments.
