TennaBLE Beacon for Small Tool Tracking
BLE beacons leverage Tenna’s BLE network effect where other Tenna users running the Tenna App nearby can pick up your beacon signals which report updates to your account. For example, if you have a subcontractor working onsite with you who also uses the Tenna App for their company’s account, they can read your beacons and report the updates to your account. The more people using the Tenna App, the larger the network. Rest assured, Tenna users outside of your own company do not have access to your data. This is merely an expansion of the data network.
Ideal for equipment attachments such as buckets and blades that get high-impact and aggressive use.
This Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon, encased in steel, gets welded onto assets for extra ruggedness. The BLE Beacon Steel Puck sends out regular heartbeats which are recognized by the Tenna Mobile asset tracking apps for iOS and Android. When downloaded onto a smart device, the app automatically identifies and records the location of tagged assets when in range and stores your data on Tenna.
Useful for small tools and equipment. Your smartphone will automatically identify each asset’s location, without manual involvement.
